We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ying Zhao, who will lead Crown Fine Art’s activity in Singapore.
Born in China, Ying has studied art from an early age. She transitioned from design to fashion management following a relocation to Canada, before returning to Asia and settling in Singapore with her husband and two children.
Ying has previously owned her own art gallery, where she developed a strong network and invaluable experience coordinating with art exhibition organizers, architects, and fine art collectors.
In her role with Crown Fine Art, Ying will lead in providing art handling solutions for clients moving their goods around, in and out of Singapore.
Ying said: “I am delighted to be joining Crown Fine Art in Singapore at such an exciting time for the sector here. The market has so much potential."
“Singapore has seen increasing investment and changes in immigration policies, so we’re seeing a number of high-net-worth individuals relocate here. Where that happens, the art market follows. And it shows – Singapore hosted Art SG for the second time back in January, and many attending international galleries have subsequently set up shops here in Singapore.”

She added: “We expect to see ongoing growth in the art market and I’m really looking forward to getting out and about and sharing Crown’s ‘Concierge’ style service to help collectors, gallery owners, and more. As a leader in the fine art logistics industry, we consistently take a macro look at the trends, challenges, and opportunities in our territory, then provide our clients with the most efficient solutions for their projects. Yet, we also focus on growing business organically and achieving our sustainability goals.”
Recently, the Singapore division of Crown Fine Art has assisted a local gallery in shipping artworks to the Affordable Art Fair in Hong Kong, provided support for the transportation of the George Hoyningen Huene Estate Archives to Sweden, as well as packing and moving many clients’ artworks into storage.
